Motion Animation

Footage, restyled as something that was designed.

Motion Animation does not add an overlay to your video — it rebuilds the frame around it. Three looks, each with its own authored compositions, palettes and rules about what the picture is: a paper collage the speaker is cut out into, a film print the whole picture is treated as, and a notebook page the shots are taped onto in order.

Free — renders on our servers and never uses credits.

Why this one

What Motion Animation does differently

Authored layouts, not generated ones

Every composition was drawn by hand and declares which frame shapes it works at. A portrait layout is never offered at 16:9, because the slots are fractions and it would render a speaker at 23% of the width rather than fail.

The look decides everything under it

Compositions, palettes, cadence and the maximum source length all belong to the look, and they differ by an order of magnitude — the collage cuts the subject out of every frame, the archival look never mattes at all.

Runs here, costs nothing

The whole pipeline is local. No GPU is rented and no credits are spent, whatever the length or the look.

Workflow

Using Motion Animation

Three steps. The slow one runs without you.

  1. 1

    Upload the footage

A talking head suits the collage look; anything suits the other two. The length cap shown is the chosen look's own.

  2. 2

Pick a look and a frame

Choose the style, then portrait, square or landscape. Only the layouts authored for that shape are offered.

  3. 3

    Add headlines, then render

Pop-up headlines are timed against a transcript rather than guessed at. The reel renders as a detached job.
